Did you ever wonder what the wind and weather conditions at the club are? We now have two cameras on the roof of CRYC to view the conditions LIVE.The first is a fixed mounted camera that has been on the web site for a couple of months. The Newest camera allows you to Pan, Tilt, Zoom (PTZ) the camera. You can be in control.
Both of these cameras are IP Cameras, which means they have little computers inside that act like web servers. The club's computer is off and has nothing to do with these pictures. To see and control the PTZ camera, you need to Log in to the CRYC website. In the middle of the home page is a picture to click on.
- Click on the picture for PTZ. That should take you to the IP log in screen.
- The first time, you should follow the directions and download the OCX first.
- The log in name and password are both "member". (lower case)
- To control the camera motion click the PTZ button at the top rightof the screen
- To control the zoom, click the + or - next to zoom..
- Focus is Auto unless you manually override. Zoom and it returns to auto.
Several people have had issues with not being able to see the image. All they see is a red X. You may need to adjust your browser security setting to allow Active X. The following link is a description from the supplier of how to activate Acive X.

I suggest setting the Active X security settings to "prompt" that way you still have a choice of what you allow.
I personally can view the site using Internet Explorer. I get a blue screen image using AOL. Still working on that.
Share the use. If more than one person is logged in, both are suppose to be able to move the camera.
Good luck, have fun and let me know if you still have issues.
