NOTICE OF RACE
1 RULES
1.1 The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in the 2021 – 2024 Racing Rules of Sailing, the associated waiver and release of liability, and the official entry form.
2 ENTRY FEE
The Regatta entry fee will be $35.00 per boat. For planning purposes, please notify Jon Burnham of your intentions before Monday Sept 11, 2024, at buntori33@gmail.com or 609-405-4209.

4 VENUE
Cooper River, Camden County, NJ.
5 THE COURSE
The courses shall be Triangles or Windward Leewards at the discretion of the Race Committee. For Triangles and Windward Leewards there will be a number displayed that will designate the number of Windward Legs; mid-leg start/finish, “modified”, courses may be used. All Races will finish to windward.
6 SCORING
The number of scheduled races is 5 of which 1 must be completed to constitute the regatta. Should wind, weather, or other conditions make it impossible or impractical to complete all five races within the publicized time, the event will be terminated and the results based upon the completed number of races. There will be no dropped races for scoring purposes.
7 RADIO COMMUNICATIONS
A boat shall neither make radio transmissions while racing nor receive radio communications not available to all boats. This restriction also applies to mobile telephones.
8 REQUIRED SAFTETY EQUIPMENT
Paddle, 50 ft. line & PFD.
8.1 US Competitors shall carry a U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) approved personal floatation device (PFD). Competitors from outside the U.S. shall carry a PFD approved by their nations’ certification authority to the extent permitted by international treaty.
9. AWARDS
CRYC Perpetual Trophy - 1st Overall
Finishes First through third will receive trophies for skipper and crew.
10 LAUNCHING AND BERTHING
Lift launching and ramp launching are available.
11 SOCIAL:
Breakfast: A continental breakfast will be provided to competitors and crew.
After Racing: Beverages and light repast will be provided on shore to competitors and crew. Picnic fare post racing.
12 LODGING
There are numerous hotels that are close to the venue and reasonable.
13 HOUSING
Limited housing is available upon request prior to the regatta. Please contact Jon Burnham for housing requests.

15 DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
Sailing is an activity that has an inherent risk of damage and injury. Competitors in this event are participating entirely at their own risk. See RRS 4, Decision to Race. The race organizers (organizing authority, race committee, protest committee, host club, sponsors, or any other organization or official) will not be responsible for damage to any boat or other property or the injury to any competitor, including death, sustained as a result of participation in this event. By participating in this event, each competitor agrees to release the race organizers from any and all liability associated with such competitor’s participation in this event to the fullest extent permitted by law.
